Only on Mushroom escape:
http://www.mushroomfm.com/escape
From this Saturday at 2am Eastern, that’s 6pm Saturday in NZ, 4pm in Sydney and 7am in the UK, and repeated every four hours throughout the day, it’s the described movie The 39 Steps from 1939.
The 39 Steps is a 1935 British thriller film directed by Alfred Hitchcock and starring Robert Donat and Madeleine Carroll.
It is very loosely based on the 1915 adventure novel The Thirty-Nine Steps by John Buchan.

Have your say ahead of this weekend's Mosen at Large. Mainstreaming versus schools for the blind. Which is best?

Kia ora everyone. Time flies, mate, and now for me it is flying with the help of a shiny new Apple Watch Series 6. If you’re considering upgrading your Apple Watch, or perhaps you’ve been holding off buying your first Apple Watch but there’s now enough to tantalise you into looking at one seriously, I’ll play you my Apple Watch unboxing on the show this week. I’ll demonstrate how you safely back up an old Apple Watch in preparation for the big transfer, and then we’ll set up the new watch.

Joe Liggins this week on The Juke In The Back!

The Juke In The Back” focuses on the “soul that came before rock n’ roll,” the records that inspired Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and countless others.

Words, Words, and More Words on The Country Oasis This Week

I love words. I love reading, and I love word games. And some would even say I love to talk. So, my question is, what do construction, mining, farming, money, time, and numbers all have in common? You probably wouldn't think much, but country music is full of these themes, and somehow I've managed to link them all together for tomorrow's show. And, kind of like one of my word games that I love to play, some of the songs are, ... Well, ... Very loose associations. But, isn't that all part of the fun?

It's Folkish Fall, this Week on Come by the Hills!

Yes, Autumn is on its way for us in the northern hemisphere, and Come by the Hills is on its way too! Join me tonight at 8:00 PM Eastern for three hours of great Folk and Celtic music, some with a hint of Autumn and some that's just plain awesome in any season. There's also another personal tribute that I'll be paying to a very dear friend and spiritual role-model who died peacefully on Wednesday after a long and fruitful life.

wall.

The Heartbeats this week on The Juke In The Back!

The Juke In The Back” focuses on the “soul that came before rock n’ roll,” the records that inspired Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and countless others.
With so many wonderful vocal groups present during the 1950s, it took a few distinct ones to lead the pack and blaze the trail. The Heartbeats are always right up there with The Clovers, Harptones, Moonglows, Flamingos and the other leaders who carried the torch lit by the Orioles and Ravens during the late ’40s.

The penultimate edition of the top 100 of 1970 this week on The Early Years!

Affter you've enjoyed Mosen At Large, Mushroom FM's premier tech magazine and opinion show, this afternoon from 02:00 to 05:00, during which I hope all your questions get answered, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac or smart speaker and join me in The Early Years where and when you'll enjoy the best music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres.

Greg's Roast Beef this week on Damo's All Day Breakfast.

So Who is Greg, and what’s so special about his roast beef? You’re probably asking?

Well Greg is my Brother-in-Law from Rockhampton, and while I was up there at a wedding a couple of weeks ago, Greg and I were having a chat about camp oven cooking. We swapped a few recipes, and Greg gave me this one, which was his method of cooking roast beef.
