Come with me and get Lost in the 50s

Hi, I'm Steve Cutway inviting you to come with me and get Lost in the 50s, Monday to Friday at 5 PM North America Eastern Time on Mushroom FM, the home of the Fun Guys.
39 years ago this past Tuesday, Elvis Presley was found dead in his Graceland mansion bathroom from what would be determined was a drug overdose. He was only 42, young from this fun guy's perspective.

Remembering Elvis today on Lost in the 50s

Hi, I'm Steve Cutway. Join me today at 5 PM Eastern for Lost in the 50s on Mushroom FM.
Yesterday was the 39th anniversary of Elvis's death at the age of 42. I began a retrospective of all his singles from 1954-59, hits and non-hits. I got as far as the Fall of 1956. I'll continue today, finishing 1956 and starting 1957, the two years that produced many of his best singles.
I look forward to getting Lost in the 50s with you, Monday to Friday at 5 PM Eastern on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making magic mushroom memories.

The Blind Side has now concluded on Mushroom FM, but will be continuing as a podcast

Hello everyone, thanks to those who have provided such warm encouragement regarding The Blind Side. We've clearly demonstrated a need for such a show and it will definitely be continuing.

As indicated on today's show and in another post on the Mushroom FM blog, The number of podcast listeners to The Blind Side has been quite remarkable. That shows us that there's a real hunger for this content, but people want to consume it on their terms. They want to be able to speed it up, skip through it, and pick and choose what they hear. A radio experience can't offer that.

Statement from Jonathan Mosen about the future of Mushroom FM

Monday's edition of The Blind Side puts the spotlight on Braille

The Blind Side is Mushroom FM's daily current affairs show from a blindness perspective.

Coming up on Monday's edition of The Blind Side, we talk about the show's future as we transition next week to a weekly podcast.

Mary Schnackenberg joins us to talk about the recent general assembly of the International Council on English Braille. We discuss the current state of the code, consider its relevance in today’s high-tech world, and we ask the question, why is it necessary to keep tampering with it.
