It's still about summer again this week on The Early Years

When you hear the final chord and laughter from Van Halen's "Happy Trails" ending today's edition of The Mosen Explosion, stay tuned for The Early Years on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys.
Hello, I'm Steve Cutway. It's still all about summer this week as I conclude my survey of summer songs from the 50s and 60s begun two weeks ago. This week includes more requests and a six pack (not altogether) of songs by my favourite band. Another artist will pay tribute to Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts club Band and I'll finish with the song that many people think is the best summer song that may or may not be from the 60s depending on your point of view.
As 50s music has received short shrift the past two weeks, next week's show will be dedicated entirely to that decade including the 20 biggest songs of the summer as chosen by Rolling Stone Magazine.
You can contact me any time by e-mail at steve@mushroomfm.com with comments about tonight's show and suggestions for future shows.
So join me, Steve Cutway, in The Early Years, when I finish surveying summer songs from the 60s, tonight at 6 PM Eastern, with an encore presentation Wednesday morning at 7 AM, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories!
