Jaw-dropping songs and more on The Early Years!

Join me for The Early Years where you'll hear the best music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres.
Nothing outside the first quarter century of rock this week. In fact, nothing beyond 1977; and that's only because that song along with one from 19 years earlier will celebrate the beginning of Spring which arrived in the Northern Hemisphere on Thursday. After celebrating Spring, I'll begin the final show of "jaw-dropping Songs".
What are "jaw-dropping songs"? As defined by a regular listener, jaw-dropping songs are songs that made you stop and listen the first time you heard them, whether you ultimately liked them or not; or songs that made you say, "what the frig!" (Or perhaps something stronger that I'm not allowed to say on-air).
Ten listeners sent me lists of their jaw-dropping songs and they represent quite a musical variety.
This week, you'll hear music from the 50s, 60s and 70s, some of which might well turn out to be jaw-dropping songs for you and some will definitely fit the "what the frig!" aspect of the definition.
You can contact me any time by email at steve@mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows; and anything else you want to share as well.
So join me, Steve Cutway, in The Early Years, for the last of the jaw-dropping songs, this afternoon at 05:00 PM, after "The Mosen explosion" and before "Dan Sweeney's One Hit Wonders". The show replays Wednesday morning at 07:00 AM, before Anthony Unleashed, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories!
