Songs about family with another guest host this week on the Early Years!

After you've enjoyed Come By The Hills with Sara Hillis, tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac, smart speaker or tablet and join us for The Early Years, where and when you'll hear the best music from the first half of the Rock and Roll era with occasional nods to other decades and genres.
The very special shows with guest hosts begun last week with my long-time friend, Hank in Ottawa and his look at songs about NHL hockey cities, continue this week on The Early Years with my wife of 52½ years, Nancy, who will share her passion with you through songs about family. She has been a Genealogist for more than 45 years.
Hank and Nancy volunteered to fill in when it appeared that I would be unavailable due to my gum grafting surgery in early December. My involvement in this week's show has been minimal, just like it was in Hanks's show. I'm looking forward to enjoying it as much as I enjoyed Hank's show. I hope you enjoy it too.
Nancy has so many family songs that she'll finish playing them next week. After that, I'll take a look back at the themes I did in 2023 and play a song from as many of those themes as time permits.
You can contact me any time by email at steve at mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows. I will forward your comments to Nancy.
So join Nancy, for The Early Years, when she makes musical and magical memories playing songs about family, tomorrow afternoon at 05:00, after Come By The Hills with Sara Hillis and Before Dan Sweeney's One Hit Wonders and his look at music from 1961. The show replays Wednesday morning at 07:00 AM, after Deep dive with Graeme Innes and before A Mushroom FM Request Stop while Anthony Horvath is on vacation, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories.
