Well, it's that time of year again: every year for I don't know how long, Bruce Toews has done a Weird Al special sometime in August or September. It will be happening again this year.
After you've enjoyed Come By The Hills with Sara Hillis, tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 to 05:00, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac or smart speaker and join me in The Early Years where and when you'll hear the best music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres.

Hi Everyone.
For various reasons it has been a few weeks since I've been able to do a live show, however, this week, I'm once again comfortably set up in the Soundproof Booth, and ready to bring you two hours of great music and friendly chat.
Among other things, I'll fill you in on my trip to Magnetic Island, where we met some very cute and interesting Rock Walabies. My OzPig finally arrived this week, so I'll be able to tell you more about it, and how easy it was to set up.

From this Saturday at 12am Eastern, that’s 4pm Saturday in NZ, 2pm in Sydney and 5am in the UK, and repeated every four hours throughout the day, it’s the described Movies Fatal Attraction from 1987 and Top Gun from 1986.
Fatal Attraction is a 1987 American erotic psychological thriller film directed by Adrian Lyne from a screenplay written by James Dearden, based on his 1980 short film Diversion.
The Juke In The Back” focuses on the “soul that came before rock n’ roll,” the records that inspired Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and countless others.
Much has been written about the great R&B vocal groups of the 1950s. Many of the classic groups were either great musicians and vocalists and never had the recognition or record sales to back it up or these groups were thrown together, they couldn’t sing very well and scored one, solid hit that still spins in the eternal jukebox of public consciousness.
This week on Deep Dive we enjoy the talents of singer and songwriter Neil Sedaka. We find that it hurts to be in love, discover a diary, and sing about a calendar girl.
To hear these and many more you can tell your SmartSpeaker to play Mushroom FM at 4 PM Eastern Monday, Tuesday at 6 AM in Eastern Australia. Or at 6 AM Eastern Wednesday, which is 8 PM in Eastern Australia.

It’s Jonathan Mosen back with another edition of Small World, the kids’ programme for the whole family. It’s a wonderful world where the bad people always lose in the end, and there are stories and songs that transport you to wonderful places and make you smile.
This week, we’ll have a few songs and a story from max Cryer, a famous New Zealand entertainer and producer who died recently. If you’re in New Zealand where Small World has been on the radio since the 1970s, you’ll certainly be familiar with his work. We hope the rest of the world enjoys hearing him too.
After you've enjoyed Come By The Hills with Sara Hillis, an encore presentation of her 2021 Stan Rogers special, tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 to 05:00, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac or smart speaker and join me in The Early Years where and when you'll hear the best music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres.
Hello! Sara Hillis here to tell you that while this week's Come by the Hills episode may not be new, it's certainly great! I have decided once again to plunge headlong into the depths of the 3-Day Novel Contest this Labour Day weekend, so rather than dealing with my writing-addled brain for three hours of real time on Saturday, you get one of my famous encore presentations! This time, it's our 2021 Stan Rogers special, which I feel was the best one yet!
