But I Don't Have Hours Each Day to Do a Radio Show...
Here's where it gets really interesting. At Mushroom FM, we use a technique called voice tracking, and it's a game-changer for busy people who want to be radio presenters. Voice tracking allows you to pre-record your show segments, your music introductions, your stories, and your personality-driven content ahead of time. These recordings are then seamlessly woven together with the music to create a show that sounds completely live and natural to listeners.
What does this mean in practical terms? A two-hour show can take as little as thirty minutes to produce. Yes, you read that right. In the time it takes to watch half of a TV drama, you could create two hours of entertainment that will delight listeners around the world. You have complete flexibility in how you work. Some of our presenters like to record each day's show that morning over their coffee. Others prefer to sit down once a week and knock out all five shows in a single session. The choice is entirely yours. You can bring some of your own music if it fits our format of music from the 50s to the 80s, but by default, our computer, the Mushroom Pot, picks the songs for you from our extensive library of many thousands of tracks.
