Long songs finish this week on The Early Years!
After you've enjoyed The Variety Vault with Paul Merrell, Wednesday afternoon from 2 to 4 PM, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac, smart speaker or tablet and join me for The Early Years, where and when you'll hear the best music from the first quarter century of Rock with nods to other decades and genres.
All the songs this week except two will be from beyond the four decades of music that Mushroom FM typically plays as I finish the theme I began May 7, 2025 with lots of interruptions since, long songs. I left you last week in November 1992 and after playing one song from September 1970, I'll pick it up in January 1993, and continue to August 2011, finishing with a song from 1980.
Next Wednesday will be July 1, Canada Day, our 159th anniversary of becoming a country. I'll celebrate it with a new theme, Canadiana, which could well continue for many shows.
You can contact me any time by email at steve at mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows.
So join me, Steve Cutway, as I finish long songs, Wednesday afternoon at 4 PM, where and when I will make musical and magical memories, after The Variety Vault with Paul Merrell, and before Story Untold with PJ Noce. Then stay tuned for The Mosen explosion. The Early Years will replay Friday morning at 7 AM, after Decades in HD with PJ Noce and before The Mosen explosion with Jonathan Mosen, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories.
