The Variety Vault with Paul Merrell

The Variety Vault with Paul Merrell

Welcome to The Variety Vault, broadcasting from beautiful Temecula, California. Every show, I open the vault and pull out the best mix of music from the 1950s through the 1980s. You might hear a doo-wop gem, a British Invasion classic, a '70s soft rock favorite, and an '80s hit, all in the same set. That variety is the whole point.

Between the songs, I keep things relaxed with some light conversation. Think of me as your best friend on the radio, the one who always has the right song ready. Pull up a chair and enjoy two hours of music and memories.

You will find The Variety Vault on Mushroom FM every weekday, Monday through Friday, from 2 AM to 4 AM Eastern, and again at a more sensible hour for many of us, from 2 PM to 4 PM Eastern. Visit the Mushroom FM schedule to see the times in your own time zone. Ask your smart speaker to play Mushroom FM, use your favorite radio app, or tune in on your Victor Reader Stream.

I would love to hear from you. Tell me what you think of the show, which songs bring back memories for you, or what you would like me to dig out of the vault.
