It's Jonathan Mosen, inviting you to join Melissa Riccobono and Me for an Evening of Mushroom FM Stories, in Support of the National Federation of the Blind of Maryland.
On Saturday, November 7, Melissa Riccobono and I will join the At Large Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of Maryland for a fun evening all about Mushroom FM, the radio station operated solely by blind people.
I will share the history of how Mushroom FM came to be, along with some of the stories and memorable moments from over the years. I will also talk about The Mosen Explosion and what it is really like to put a show together and broadcast it. Melissa will tell you how her show on Mushroom FM, The Song Remembers When, is a dream come true for her. You will also enjoy music from the 50s through the 80s, which seems fitting for a Mushroom FM gathering.
This event is a fundraiser for the NFB of Maryland’s At Large Chapter, and you do not need to live in Maryland to take part. Anyone, anywhere in the world, is welcome to make the donation and join us on Zoom.
