I’ve been doing this radio malarkey in various forms for about 46 years now, which is truly scary and ridiculous. And one of the things that I know causes all sorts of argument is the question of when to dust off the Christmas music.
I have a clear rule in Mosen Towers, the 25th of November, one month before the jolly old fat fellow comes down the chimney and brings me masses of electronics, is the right day to start playing it. So I’m already feeling festive as we prepare to introduce some festive tunes into the Mosen Explosion mix.

Yes, it's Sunday in Mushroom Land, and that means it's time for some great Celtic and Folk music on come by the Hills. Tonight at 8:00 PM Eastern, I'll present three hours of great music live on the air. We'll play a few songs from Canadian band Spirit of the West, as their lead singer John Mann died earlier this week, and we'll generally have a great time as we always do.

Greetings fellow music travelers.
Yesterday, a monumental new box set from Jimi Hendrix Band of Gypsys called "Songs for Groovy Children - the Fillmore East concerts was released.
In just two days, Jimi Hendrix, Billy Cox and Buddy Miles laid the groundwork for a whole new style of hard, soulful, psychedelic funk that influenced countless musicians, but up until now, most people have only heard the heavily-edited 45 minutes of material that ended up on the original Band of Gypsys live album.

Hello exploding types. We’re almost ready for another Mosen Explosion coming live at you on Mushroom FM at 2 PM Eastern, 7 PM in the UK.
We’ll have the usual mix of some of the best music ever made and some great conversation.
As well as a little tech chatter, this week I’d like to hear about issues you’ve had gaining access to public facilities as a blind person. I suspect most of these stories will come from guide dog users but I don’t want to restrict the discussion.
