It's almost that time of the week again, when we invite you to tune in for four hours of exploding nonsense and great listener chat, as well as a wide selection of the best music ever made.

Exciting news! The Celts will soon be invading the home of the fun guys! For three hours every Sunday night, jigs, reels and balads will be the order of the day as I serve up the best in Celtic music from around the world. Not only will I be playing traditional favourites which defined the genre, but also new songs inspired by tradition which have changed it forever.

There will be lots of fun features for you to enjoy, interesting info about your favourite artists and groups, and of course plenty of room for your requests.

Hello everyone, thanks to those who have provided such warm encouragement regarding The Blind Side. We've clearly demonstrated a need for such a show and it will definitely be continuing.

As indicated on today's show and in another post on the Mushroom FM blog, The number of podcast listeners to The Blind Side has been quite remarkable. That shows us that there's a real hunger for this content, but people want to consume it on their terms. They want to be able to speed it up, skip through it, and pick and choose what they hear. A radio experience can't offer that.

Time flies when you're in the company of amazing listeners, and it's hard to believe that Mushroom FM has been back on-air for nearly a year. It's been fun bringing the Mushroom magic back.
