It's a page Turning Bonair

It’s a page turning Bonair this week—Tuesday 9:00 – 11:00 p.m. on www.mushroomfm.com and in all your fav music apps. We will play your requests, have a titillating topic to get you talking, and saunter into the Mosen kitchen for another delicacy from “Food for Thought.” But the big event this week, are highlights from the first Funguys book club chat. In the second hour, we will play selections from the lively, thought provoking discussion on John Green’s “The Fault in Our Stars” and announce this month’s book selection. Come join us: Don’t be shy!

The Mosen Explosion's got the new Beatles Remixes!

Once again, we're back on your thing, no matter what that thing is and where that thing is located. It could be an iThing, a new Apple TV thing, a PC thing, but we're on that thing.
And the thing I hope you'll do with that thing on Sunday at 2 PM Eastern, 7 PM UK, is join me for another edition of The Mosen Explosion.

It's almost here! The Mushroom FM Book Club's Inaugural Meeting.

Grab a cup of tea, coffee, or other relaxing beverage and join us for the first MushroomFM book club chat—this Saturday at noon EST. Bonnie Mosen will be your moderator, and we will be discussing “The Fault in Our Stars: by John Green. To participate in the discussion, visit mushroomfm.com/bookclub and follow the link to enter the room. If you're unable to make the discussion, but you'd like to share your views on the book, you can call the Book Club Feedback Line. It's a US number. 206-333-5717. At the end of the chat, the book club selection for November will be announced.

Thanks to Bob Kanish

Many of our Mushroom FM fun guys have busy day jobs, and I remain deeply appreciative that they are part of our wonderful voluntary project.

Sometimes though, it's important to do a work/life balance check. After doing this, Bob Kanish has decided that his busy schedule doesn't permit continuing his show, The Depths, on Mushroom FM at the moment.

Whether you are the victor or the vanquished, it's time for another Bonair

Whether you are the victor or the victim of the great global sporting events since last show, it is time to tune in to another heart racing edition of Bonair—Tuesday 9:00 – 11:00 p.m. EST on www.mushroomfm.com and in all your favourite music apps. We will review the exciting week in sports—with no excuses, win or lose, have another “Food for Thought” a last minute check of the book club, and of course, play your requests. No theme this week, so anything goes.

Live and Acoustic Music takes Centre Stage in the Pop Vault

Hi everyone. After a pretty full-on weekend, You are warmly invited to kick back for the latest tour of Paskell's Pop Vault this afternoon from 12 PM Eastern, 5 PM GMT, only on The Home of the Fun Guys, Mushroom FM. This week we have an hour crammed full of live performances and alternative acoustic recordings from the likes of Sheryl Crow, Phil Collins, The Corrs and Wet Wet Wet. We'll also mark the release of the latest Bond film with an unusual remix of Tina Turner's “Golden Eye” soundtrack classic.

We're exploding in triumph again this week.

I hope you'll join me for another four hours where we just don't know what's going to happen, we don't know what little remark made by me or you will spark a lively discussion among our Mosen Explosion family via Twitter or email. We do know there'll be plenty of great music, wacky news, a look at history and a Bonnie Bulletin. But it's the back and forth, the unpredictability, that makes it all so much fun.

It’s party time in the shed.

Over the last six weeks or so, most New Zealanders have been waking up early, shouting and cheering at TV screens all over the country.
Why?
It has been the 2015 Rugby World Cup, and the All Blacks, (the national team of New Zealand) were the current world champs heading into it.
We were all hoping come the 31st of October, the All Blacks would still be world champions after winning this year’s final, and become the first nation to win back to back Rugby World Cups.
The match has just finished, and success! Our boys are world champs again.

It's a Sporty, Scary bonair

It’s a sporty, scary Bonair Tuesday 9:00 – 11:00 p.m. EST on MushroomFM.com and in all your favourite music apps. No worries, we will not be featuring two hours of the Spice Girls! With the Mets and Royals about to hit it off in the World Series, the gates opening for the Breeder’s Cup, and of course, the match of the century between NZ and Australia in the Rugby World Cup, not to mention Halloween, we will play upbeat songs to cheer your team on mixed with some creepy crawly favs.

The Mosen Explosion asks, will you Yodel for your Chocolate Fish Supper?

First of all, attention! Attention! If you're in Europe and your clocks have gone back this weekend, then for one crazy week only, the Mosen Explosion will start an hour earlier, because you're closer to Eastern time than usual! Attention attention attention! So we still start at 2 PM Eastern, but it's now 6 in the UK. Attention!
