The Greatest Show on Earth (1952) is a spectacular drama set against the colourful and dangerous world of a travelling circus. The story follows Brad Braden, the general manager of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, as he attempts to keep the enormous show running while dealing with competition, personal rivalries, and the many challenges of life under the big top.
The circus becomes the centre of a complicated story involving Holly, a talented trapeze artist who dreams of becoming the show's star, and Sebastian, a charismatic performer whose arrival threatens Holly's position. At the same time, Brad must deal with a romance involving Angel, a circus performer, while keeping the massive production on schedule.
As the circus travels from city to city, the performers face accidents, jealousies, romantic complications, and the ever-present dangers of their demanding professions. The excitement reaches a dramatic climax when a devastating train wreck puts lives at risk and the circus community must come together to respond to the disaster.
Directed by Cecil B. DeMille, the film features spectacular circus performances, elaborate production numbers, and a large ensemble cast. It won the Academy Award for Best Picture and remains notable for its portrayal of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus at the height of its travelling-show era.

More Than Meets the Eye: The Joan Brock Story (2003) is a television drama based on the true story of Joan Brock, a woman whose life changes dramatically after she loses her eyesight.
