Revisiting March 26, 2022, this Week on Come by the Hills

Hello! Sara Hillis here to tell you that this week's episode of Come by the Hills is an encore presentation of an episode from March 26, 2022. It has lots of springish themes and is just generally a fun episode. I hope to be back with you next week, but in the meantime, I hope you'll enjoy this blast from the past. Keep in mind that some promos and such will be out of date, but otherwise, do enjoy the episode!

Catch Come by the Hills on Saturdays at 2:00 PM Eastern, or check out the replay on Tuesdays at 5:00 AM Eastern. However and whenever you listen, enjoy!

Time keeps on slippin' on The Early Years!

After you've enjoyed Come By The Hills with Sara Hillis, tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac or smart speaker and join me for The Early Years where and when you'll hear the best music from the first half of the Rock and Roll era with nods to other decades and genres.

Fifties, Sixties, and Seventies on The Song Remembers When

Join me this Sunday from 4-6 Eastern for music and memories from the fifties, sixties, and seventies. Hear a couple songs my chorus sang when I was in middle school, a description of an "audio movie" I created as a teenager, news from the Orioles, Brewers, and Rays in the baseball segment, and, of course, some requests and other memories. Next week we will be exploring great, (or maybe, in some cases, not so great) cover songs. Please be in touch with songs I can play for you, and your stories about why these songs have a special place in your heart.

Coming up on Saturday at the Described Movies: Hello, Dolly and Road to Bali.

The Clovers, part 2 – 1953-56 this week on The Juke In The Back!

The "Juke In The Back" focuses on the " soul that came before rock n' roll," the records that inspired Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and countless others.

Deep Dive is heading in the right direction

This week on Deep Dive we enjoy the jazz, blues and soul talents of Australian singer Renee Geyer. We learn that it's a man's man's world, experience stares and whispers and stand on shaky ground.

Tune in at 4 PM Eastern Monday, which is 6 AM Tuesday in Eastern Australia. Or at 6 AM Eastern Wednesday, which is 8 PM in Eastern Australia. March up to that SmartSpeaker of yours and demand that it play Mushroom FM and you will be there in a trice.

Deep Dive, exclusively heard on Mushroom FM, is home of the fun guys.

An Easter Themed Song Remembers When

Since The Song Remembers When will air on Easter Sunday from 4-6 pm eastern, I thought an Easter themed show would be appropriate. I hope you'll join me for music that brings back Easter memories, even if most of the songs have nothing to do with Easter whatsoever to most people but me! Also, listen back to a classic Easter Sunday baseball moment from the Milwaukee Brewers in the new baseball segment. Do you have a favorite baseball team? Want to engage in some good natured smack talk? Bring it on!

The time continuum continues this week on The Early Years!

Now that the time continuum has sorted itself out, I'll continue the theme begun four weeks ago, "songs about time", playing more songs about time, including your suggestions. There are so many more songs that I will continue this theme next week.

Tomorrow, It's a Listener-inspired Sara Smiles!

So, I got a message from a listener today with a brilliant idea! This listener suggested that we take some time on Sara Smiles to go through the sound track of Jesus Christ Superstar. I've chosen to do this on Western Good Friday, which is tomorrow at the time of this writing. Now, anyone who may find this offensive is free not to listen, and I truly do hope that those who commemorate Christ's Passion on this day will be doing so in all peace and quietness of heart.
