Halloween Songs this week on The Early Years!

After you've enjoyed Come By The Hills with Sara Hillis, tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 to 05:00, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac or smart speaker and join me in The Early Years where and when you'll hear the best music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres.
Last week, I said I'd finish the top 100 of 1971 this week. But it's a DJ's prerogative to change his mind and I've done that because Sunday is Halloween. The entire show will be devoted to Halloween songs. You'll meet ghosts, martians, monsters, mummies, a space girl, a black magic woman, witches, and dead people, all of the beings who visit us each year on Halloween. We'll also do some of that old black magic.
I'll finish the top 10 of the top 100 of 1971 next week along with a tribute to Jay Black of Jay And The Americans who passed away October 22 at the age of 82, 11 days shy of his 83rd birthday.
You can contact me any time by email at steve at mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows.
So join me, Steve Cutway, in The Early Years, as I make musical and magical memories with Halloween songs, tomorrow afternoon at 05:00, after Come By The Hills with Sara Hillis and before Dan Sweeney's One Hit Wonders. The show replays Wednesday morning at 07:00 AM, after Deep Dive with Graeme Innes and before Anthony Unleashed with Anthony Horvath, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories!
